My goal with the One to One session, is to offer my years long experience and insights to as many people as possible in a direct and personal format.
Giving artistic feedback is an entire craft in itself. If not done carefully and considerately, it can very easily misguide, derail and at worst, un-inspire. My intention is to do the opposite. I've spent years giving nuanced feedback to workshop attendees, high profile projects and numerous teams.
I found direct, one to one feedback of participant's portfolios was the most impactful and valuable aspects of workshops. From total novices all the way up to industry professionals. And now, I'm finally able to bring that experience to anyone, anywhere in the world!
- Content
The meeting will consist of a 60 minute video call with myself reviewing your portfolio, giving professional advice and guidance along with some practical actionable recommendations.
However, it also includes any number of art and design related topics you wish to discuss. Such as practical advice and tips like: portfolio best practices, brushes, colour, where that annoying checkbox in Photoshop is etc... All the way to art philosophy, motivation and freelance business related topics. Even any questions about my own path and career, which may help you clarify your own!
- Limited Number
There is an extremely limited number of these appointments available. This may be modified as my availability allows in the future, so please follow me for any major updates/announcements of new appointment rounds if you miss this one.
- Time Slots
The time slots are already scheduled in my calendar, and are at the specific time of 5pm-6pm (UTC+1) Mon-Thurs. Please make sure this works for you in your timezone before purchase.
If you have any specific time slot requests or other questions please contact me here
- Preparation Recommendations
A key component of maximising value with a meeting like this, is what you, the participant brings to it. I recommend having some idea of the kind of feedback you're looking for beforehand as well as any prepared questions you'd like to ask.
A key suggestion would be preparing any and all your website gallery links ready to share. And ideally selecting up-to 10 of your best artwork pieces that we can analyse and evaluate. Also if possible, sketchbooks and scribbles, as they're a good insight into your thought processes. If however, you have no artwork you wish to share and simply want to discuss art related topics or receive some guidance, that's most welcome too.
